Chair A
The A chair is the original TOLIX model. Designed by Xavier Pauchard in 1935 and perfected in 1956 by his son Jean Pauchard, it has established itself over time as an absolute benchmark of French industrial design. Originally conceived for intensive use, it has stood the test of time without ever compromising its function. Made of steel and handcrafted in Autun, each A chair perpetuates a savoir-faire passed down for nearly a century. A universal seat, whose authenticity stems as much from its design as from its origins.
