The Château du Clos de Vougeot

[2023]

The Château du Clos de Vougeot, a 12th-century historical monument in Burgundy, has chosen the TOLIX T37 collection in rush green to furnish the courtyard of its renowned Table de Léonce winery. The T37 chair was produced for the 1937 Paris Universal Exposition, the same year the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (Brotherhood of the Knights of the Wine Tasting Cup) was founded, which would go on to host grand banquets. Archival photographs show the Tolix A chair already gracing the tables of these exceptional dinners, which continue to this day. This collaboration embodies a perfect fusion of past and present, where each Chapter becomes a celebration of timeless elegance and the rich Burgundian tradition.
