Giulio Ridolfo, born in 1962, graduated in 1985 from the Domus Academy Design and Fashion School in Milan, Italy, with a Master’s in fashion design. Instead of following the traditional path of working with a conventional color system, Italian textile designer Ridolfo has developed his own personal and intuitive method of composing color schemes to carefully match his clients’ needs. As a textile and color advisor he started working with internationally renowned clothing and footwear companies and has since specialized in furniture and interior design. In these latter fields he works for a handful of selected international interior companies, such as Kvadrat, Moroso, Offecct, Vitra, Fritz Hansen, Camper, Tod’s, studio Heinle. He has teamed up with Wischer und Partner on a project designing a color system for a hospital canteen intended to foster healing and recovery.
