Konstantin Grcic
Konstantin Grcic is an artist designer born in Munich in 1965. Raised in a family of artists, Konstantin trained as a cabinetmaker and then joined the Royal College of Art in London. There he learnt design and met Jasper Morrison with whom he worked before setting up his own studio in 1991. Konstantin Grcic has a passion for technology and materials. His works are rational, his design is minimalist and goes straight to the point. He is the author of the Mayday lamp, the Chair One published by Magis, the Osoron chair published by Moroso, etc... Among his renowned clients, we can also mention Cassina, ClassiCon, Kettal, Nespresso, Plank, Smart, Vitra. His works are part of the permanent collections of prestigious design museums (MoMA / New York, Centre Georges Pompidou / Paris).
